<text>LeafMeAloneThis collection of leaf silhouettes of common Indiana leaves is based on actual leaves. I scanned in what I thought were attractive examples of various types of leaves and then traced them. (I tried to autotrace feature of Fontographer, but found that cleaning up the results took as long as manually tracing them.) Oak is over-represented because oak is more picturesque than apple or peach. Notice that one can get outlines of leaves by using the "outline" style in word processors or page-layout programs. The availability of this option is the reason I did only silhouettes and not outlines.Consider LeafMeAlone as clip art which is highly appropriate during autumn. I am sure many other uses are possible. I consider this typeface one of the best in the collection.LeafMeAlone was featured in the ΓÇ£Type DrawerΓÇ¥ column of Personal Publishing (now Business Pubishing) in Novemer, 1990.</text>
